ABOUT US
Founded in 2024 by Alice Fraudeau, JOUME began as an artisan studio brand specializing in scarves, hand-dyed and crafted in France using the cyanotype technique.
Its growth soon led to the creation of a home collection, with cushion covers printed and sewn in France, staying true to its local and artisanal roots.
Drawing inspiration from old naturalist illustrations, its first collection - La Ménagerie - features a series of hand-drawn animals, always shown in pairs. A first collection that keeps expanding, as new creatures continue to join the series. It was followed by Flore, showcasing plants that were gathered, dried, and then transformed into cyanotypes, and Maps, created for those who fear losing their way in their favorite city.
JOUME is also a return to a love for craftsmanship and forgotten techniques - those that require patience but reward with singular results.
Each scarf is made to order, through a carefully sequenced process that unfolds over several days. No two pieces are ever the same.

Alice graduated in fashion design from La Cambre (Brussels) and moved to Paris in 2018 to join the luxury fashion house Chloé, where she developed a deep expertise in delicate, flowing fabrics such as silk.
She later turned to entrepreneurship, co-founding a ready-to-wear and accessories brand with a colleague, an experience that lasted several seasons. But it was her passion for craftsmanship that ultimately called her back.
She discovered cyanotype first on paper, then began experimenting with the process on fabric - her preferred medium. After months of testing, drawing, and refining, JOUME was born.
The brand launched on the markets of Île de Ré, later found its place in a Paris boutique, and is now available online, reaching customers worldwide.
